all new students and their parents, you probably have a lot of
questions, and this page may help. Check here periodically for updates, downloads, and other helpful information. If you have any questions feel free to contact us at admission@loomis.org.
Enrollment Process
All parents must register their children using the online enrollment process on the password-protected parent portal at www.loomis.org/parents.
In May, newly enrolled students will receive a packet of information, which will include a letter from the Head of School, Registrar, and Director of Studies. It will also include math and foreign language questionnaires, in addition to information related to our summer reading requirement for all students.
In June, newly enrolled students will receive electronic communication from their academic dean. The appropriate academic dean will point the student to Loomis Chaffee’s course selection documents and make recommendations regarding course of studies.
In August, a copy of the Student Handbook will be available, along with other helpful information and reminders to help make the transition to Loomis Chaffee as smooth as possible.
Schedules and roommate information will be available upon registration in September.
Health Information
You and your physician are required to fill out and send back a
health
form and attach a copy of your health insurance card. The more
complete information provided, the better able we
are to give your son or daughter the best medical care. It is essential
that all allergy information be up to date.
Your son or daughter must have had a
physical exam after March 1. This form is due back to Loomis
Chaffee no later than August 1.
